<p>S98Player is a specialized application designed for the playback of sound logs in S98 format and PMD files, which are recordings from Yamaha FM sound chips such as OPN, OPNA, and OPM. These chips were extensively utilized in the PC-9801 series computers, making the software particularly relevant for enthusiasts and researchers interested in vintage audio formats.</p>

<h3>Regarding Rhythm Files</h3>
<p>This application requires specific rhythm files (2608_BD.WAV, 2608_HH.WAV, 2608_RIM.WAV, 2608_SD.WAV, 2608_TOM.WAV, 2608_TOP.WAV) or the ym2608_adpcm_rom.bin file to function correctly. The absence of these files will prevent proper playback.</p>

<p>Files should be transferred using the Files app and stored within a folder named "S98Player" located inside "On My iPhone."</p>
